Summary: Late check-in a nightmare: I got a message from the hotel saying "If you are arriving after the reception is closed. We will send late arrival information to you just before we closing on the day of arrival." So I indicated I would be late, but no instructions were provided. I eventually worked out the process after waiting for someone to respond to the intercom. When in the hotel, you are greeted out of hours with a tepid flask of coffee and no facilities to make a hot drink in your room. Then the in-room information suggested seeing reception for an ironing board - not much use if reception is not staffed of an evening - only to find that there was actually an iron and board by the lifts - so the information needs updating. I would not recommend nor am I likely to use again!
